出租车上的刻舟求剑·David Bowie - Diamond dogs (1974)
[reissued on September 28, 1999 Virgin Records US]
所有他唱片封面里最性感怪异的一张。
记得当年的黑盘盗版(环球复黑王?)出了Bowie的《The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust》、《The Man Who Sold The World》,再就是这张。说实在的买回来从"Future Legend"
05年夏天又一次翻到它，直接从三段式的"Sweet Things"听起，、再到叫人屡听不爽的Big Brother"Someone to shame us, some brave Apollo" 4次反复达到高潮。这两首歌里的小喇叭Solo也非常好听。CD的一大败笔就是把"Sweet Thing"的三部分强行断成三个Track，之间零点几秒的停顿着实影响情绪。事实上这三部分没有明显分界。
走了Mick Ronson, Bowie包办了所有吉他演奏。
要想弄明白Bowie这次如何借George Orwell讽喻极权主义(Totalitarianism)的寓言小说《1984》阐述什么样的概念(虽然Diamond Dogs以概念专辑的基准来看不是很成功), 还是翻着字典查查下面歌词里的生词吧——虽说可能查了也不能完全明白——当然还是要翻翻那本小说。
